One Year #Runningversary

My Post (14).png

It goes without saying that motivation hasn’t come easy to many of us over the last year. However, we are grateful to say that the members of our Andiamo family, like you, were truly a beacon of light during these trying times. We know it was all thanks to our community and the one thing we all love: running

It was your everyday victories that kept us motivated. Setting up your running gear the night before a run, waking up early, getting the family ready and hitting the road, or, for most of last year, the backyard, a local park or the treadmill. Those were the actions that kept our Andiamo community strong and running. And we cannot thank you enough.

When there is a whole community of runners putting in the work, helping each other out, and sharing their stories you realize the great power of people working together, even when they are miles apart.

In March of last year, we started the #AndiamoRunStreak as a way of staying connected with our community, to motivate each other to #keepgoing and maintain a sense of normality in our day to day lives during the pandemic. Twelve months later, we are celebrating the ONE year #runningversary of the Andiamo Mile Challenges. That's ONE year of running together and motivating each other to #keeprunning. We are so grateful for this community!

Congrats to everyone who is celebrating the one year #runninversary with us! What an accomplishment… We feel so inspired by your perseverance, consistency, dedication and discipline. Thank you for being part of this community! ¡Orgullosos de su empeño, perseverancia, dedicación y disciplina a pesar de atravesar por una pandemia, gracias por ser parte de esta comunidad!

What runners that are celebrating their one year #runninversary of the Andiamo Mile Challenge are saying:

“This challenge gave me hope during a time where everything was unknown and constantly changing. It was an outlet that could be done alone but virtually I had others with me on this journey.” - Aimee Mullin

"These challenges have helped me to get through this past year of uncertainty. I feel like I have accomplished something each day that I meet my goal. The first Andiamo challenge was to walk/run one mile each day. I used this time to reflect, pray and give thanks. The challenges continued and changed to 50/100 mile challenges, which I have done each month. I made a goal for myself to not only complete the 50 or 100 miles each month, but to also maintain the 1 mile each day, just like others in the Andiamo Group have done. I miss our races and running with my friends, but I appreciate the camaraderie and support from all of the Andiamo runners! Everyone is so supportive and encouraging. I look forward to the day we can all get together and run together! One big picture of all of us together!” - Deena Stevenson

"I have completed all 12! What an accomplishment. I don’t know where my motivation would be now without these challenges and the Andiamo community. I can’t wait to meet the people who are also participating since I have never met anyone in real life. There are some very inspiring stories in this group. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to participate and thanks to everyone participating!"

"One year and going! This past year has meant the world to me. It has given me the drive to keep going when there were days I didn’t really want to. Thank you Andiamo RP for keeping me moving!"
